The Hollywood hunk — who was married to the former Friends star from 2000-2005 — had hoped to get back with his ex-wife when he hit a rough patch with Angelina Jolie, the mother of six kids.

But when Jen told Brad she wasn’t interested in relighting the fire, the heartthrob decided to give things with Angelina another go.

“Brad was seriously considering walking back into the arms of Jen,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “That was his idea at least. But at the end of the day, Jen was having none of it. She was having way too much fun playing the field to even consider getting back with her ex.

“Brad thought he could change her mind and he was stunned when she rejected him. He’s used to getting his own way with women so to be knocked back by his ex like that was a bitter blow.

“In the end, Brad realized destiny was telling him to remain with Angelina and their six kids.

“He and Angie have been having real problems, as everyone knows, but once Brad saw he had no shot at reuniting with Jen, it cleared his mind.

“It forced him to have an emotional heart-to-hearT with Angelina and they’ve been doing better ever since.

“When Jen let him down, Brad could see he had been wrong to hold her on such a pedestal for the five years they had been separated. Suddenly, he remembered why they had broken up in the first place — and why he and Angelina became lovers.

“He’s fallen in love with Angelina all over again and they have been good ever since.”

As previously reported, the movie’s cast includes Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker and Dave Matthews, all of whom will move to Maui next month for seven weeks and then wrap up the shoot in Kauai. Nicole Kidman will also appear in an uncredited role as Rea Ann Devlin.

The movie is about a guy (Sandler) who enlists a woman (Aniston) and her kids to help him get the girl of his dreams (Decker). Its due in theaters sometime next year.

With launch looming, she’s still uncertain about what to call the scent. Jen “has yet to get 100 percent behind any name,” says the source, “but the one she favors is ‘Aniston.’ ”

That choice met with less than-unanimous approval. Some of the ad executives behind the perfume really disliked it. Another suggestion, “Echo,” was also rejected.

“It’s all about capturing the idea of romance and freedom at any age, but it’s hard to do that in just one word,” says the source.

The A-list actress has been the face of ad campaigns, the most recent being her partnership with smartwater.

“Jen wants to unleash some really glamorous commercials on TV,” once her perfume is named, the source says.

The cast for the upcoming tenth season of the competition was recently unveiled, and includes Kate Gosselin, Pamela Anderson and Shannen Doherty.

Speaking to ET Online, producer Deena Katz said: “I would kill to have Bill Clinton, and there’s always the fun Sarah Palins of the world.

“I’d love Jennifer Aniston. Our dancers are all like, ‘Please if you get Jennifer Aniston can I get her?!’. I’m like, ‘Yeah, if I get Jennifer Aniston!’.”

Katz also revealed that she had considered Bristol Palin and Paula Abdul for the show, but explained that she was unsure whether Palin would fit into the cast, and that Abdul was too busy.

“We’ve tried, and I’ve tried, and Paula has tried too,” she said. “Paula is a huge fan of our show, [but] Paula is really busy and people don’t realise what this commitment is.

“At this point people have to write off 15 weeks of their lives because you have to pretend that you will get to the finals.”

The tenth season of Dancing with the Stars premieres March 22 on ABC, and from March 26 on Watch in the UK.

According to Hollywoodlife and PerezHilton, the sexy actress who has often scorched magazine cover pages in itsy bitsy bikinis showing off her exquisite curves and golden tan, not to mention the lovely long legs, has apparently expressed her desire to star in the 23rd installment of the Bond movie known for its stylish yet killer-edge action sequence, exotic locales and last but not the least the scorching lovemaking scenes with some off the most gorgeous ladies.

Looks like the 41 old year old Derailed actress is going to give the beautiful Freida Pinto, the next potential Bond girl, a run for her money to lock lips with the suave charismatic superspy.  The Break-Up actress who has lately been in the news for recent romantic breakups may have grown tired of the concept of romance altogether both onscreen and off-screen and decided it’s time for real bu** kicking. Aniston apparently opened up to Elle Magazine about her wannabe Bond girl wish, “I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond. Glamour. Daniel Craig. Loads of fun.”

Bond’s production company EON reportedly said that they are currently on the lookout for the next potential Bond girl but she would have to possess the combination of brawns and brains both, sexy yet “athletic” “to keep up with the intense stunt work a Bond movie demands.” According to them Jen has all the requisite qualities. However, neither Jennifer nor EON has made any official confirmation or denial so far on the subject.

Mission: Impossible 4 director JJ Abrams too voiced his agreement of Jennifer being the next love interest of the suave spy James Bond, “She’d be a good one … She should go for Bond, actually; she’d be great.”

Looks like Jennifer Aniston, 41, will be moving to Cougar Town… that is, if producer Bill Lawrence gets his way! “Jennifer Aniston is going to be on the show next season, she doesn’t know it yet,” Bill said March 5 at the 25th Annual Paley Fest in Beverly Hills. “Courteney [Cox] promised me that as a birthday gift.”

Jen’s appearance on the show would mark the second time Courteney, 45, has landed her a much-hyped TV gig. She previously appeared as a rival magazine editor on an episode of Courteney’s short-lived FX series Dirt. And considering Lisa Kudrow, 46, has already guest starred on an episode of Cougar Town this season, it wouldn’t surprise us at all to see a few more Friends start popping up!

Along with Jen’s hopeful appearance, Bill also talked about upcoming guest spots from Nia Vardalos and another of Courteney’s friends, Sheryl Crow. Bill says Sheryl’s got some serious acting chops. “[She's] easily the nicest rock star out of all the rock stars I’ve ever met in my life,” he said. “And she could do this as her day job.”

Burke Ryan (Aaron Eckhart), the lead character of the film, is the writer of a book called “A-Okay”. Following the death of his wife in an accident, Burke, who happens to be a trained psychologist, needs someone to tell him how to feel about his own personal tragedy. The film starts with Burke arriving in Seattle, where he used to live with his late wife, to be the motivational speaker in his seminar on how to move on after losing someone. But he’s confronted by his former father-in-law (Martin Sheen), who calls him a hypocrite.

But there’s Jennifer Aniston, who fits into all of this, to give a romantic dimension to the scene. However, the actress, who plays Eloise, the owner of a boutique flower shop, seems to be like a secondary figure here. Despite having broken up with her boyfriend only 24 hours before Burke arrives in town, Eloise soon begins to date the death counselor, after having a rocky encounter initially.

On the whole, Burke-Eloise romance apparently isn’t fully developed till the movie ends, and it takes a back-seat when compared to the serious issues raised by the movie.

The best part about the film is an outstanding performance by Eckhart as Burke. Whereas, Aniston seems aware of the fact that she’s more of a support as the catalyst and she intelligently underplays her performance.

‘Love Happens’ can be watched for anything but romance.

On the red carpet of Cosmopolitan’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party, MTV News asked the Scottish actor whether he was fun or fearless in the upcoming flick. “I have to be both [in the movie], and in my life I have to be both,” he said. “I just kind of have to be on a lot.”

And following his own advice to laugh at the gossip about himself, he dished about which rumors happen to be his favorites. “I read a rumor somewhere saying that I was actually a woman,” he said. “There was one, apparently … I was just talking about Jen, saying, ‘I’m not a gimp,’ going on about … how I want all these other women in my life.

“Then there was one about jam,” he continued. “Apparently, I like to go into cafés and order scones and take out my mother’s homemade jam. And I take it with me everywhere. And in the same article, it said apparently Johnny Depp likes to travel with his own toilet seat.”

While it’s hard to imagine anyone not laughing at that kind of gossip, Aniston herself explained to “Access Hollywood” last month that his easygoing attitude is what made them friends. “Gerry’s the most unpretentious guy,” she said. “He’s a guy’s guy, but he’s absolutely the most lovely and sort of self-deprecating [person], and just what you see is what you get.”

According to the National Enquirer, Aniston turned Pitt away when the actor came crawling following his recent bust-up with Angelina Jolie, with whom he raises six kids.

“Jen had to wait five years, but she finally got her revenge for Brad’s abandonment,” a source said.

“She told Brad point-blank that she could never feel the same about him. She said she was sorry for his misery, but it was just too late to start over.

“Brad was a mess. He’s devoted to those children and the only thing that kept him going was that Jen was waiting for him when he and Angie made the final split.

“Brad anticipated Jen taking him back in her arms and embracing the idea of picking up the pieces of their lives together. But he was dead wrong.

“Obviously, she couldn’t help but get some satisfaction when Brad broke down and told her he was miserable with Angie and wanted her back.

“She wasn’t as mean or malicious as she could have been – but she told him flat out that she didn’t want him back and that it was just too late for second chances.

“It took Jen years to get over their divorce and the anguish of Brad leaving her for Angie.

“She finally feels like she’s regained her footing after working so hard to rebuild her life. She’s not about to risk it all just because Angie kicked Brad in the teeth again.

“Now that Jen has turned him down, he feels defeated. The poor guy is like a whipped dog.”
